About
Located at the foot of Mt. Meeker, Highlands Camp & Retreat Center offers 285 acres of natural experiences including streams, ridges, meadows, rock outcroppings, pine forests all with sunrise and sunset views.
We host both small and large groups and can provide lodging & meal service for up to 240 during the off-season (Sept-May). In the summer months, we can host up to 327 guests. Our maximum capacity for meal service is 240. Two of our cabins have kitchens so guests can prepare their own meals for up to 15 in one cabin and 20 in another.

Food is not allowed in sleeping areas.
Pets are not allowed on the property so that we may protect the wildlife habitat.
We offer free wireless internet which works best in the Retreat Center Lodge lobby.
Please help us keep the facility as neat and clean as you found it and haul all recyclables with you when you depart.
Firewood is available for wood-during fireplaces. We appreciate guests being good stewards of this valuable resource.
We often have more than one group on-site and will do everything we can to keep space sharing to a minimum. During your stay, you can help us by respecting the needs of other groups regarding space, noise and activity.
In the summer, highs in the upper 70’s and lows in the 50’s are common. In the winter, highs may reach into the 50’s but lows will dip below freezing, sometimes well below freezing.
Total Capacity
Retreat Center Lodge has 24 bedrooms and a total of 104 beds.
Year round cabins have a total of 123 beds.
Summer cabins have a total of 80 beds.
Meal Service
Our friendly staff serves meals in the Retreat Center Lodge with cathedral ceilings and breathtaking mountain views.
Enjoy juice, filtered water, hot coffee, and tea available anytime, day or night.
Meeting Areas
We have multiple meeting areas for groups to gather with televisions, audio visual equipment, VCR’s, CD & DVD player, LCD projector, microphones, overhead slide projectors, screens. We also offer podiums, lecterns, easels and dry erase boards.
Retreat Center Lodge
This fully contained lodge offers twenty-four bedrooms sleeping up to 124 guests and has everything you need to make your retreat a hit! Meal service area, large meeting rooms, a chapel, and more.
Seven Year Round Cabins
We have seven year round cabins for you to choose from, two with full kitchens, that range in size sleeping from 16 to 20 guests.
Six Summer Cabins
Our summer cabins are seasonal and open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Summer cabins are perfect for guests looking for a place to host an event with beautiful views and plenty of natural wonders right at your disposal.
Activities
There are no lack of activities in and around Highlands Camp & Retreat Center. Guests will enjoy on-site activities and nearby Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Forest.
