Make Summer Memories At Camp Lodestar

Many people and families looking for a spot to host a reunion or retreat may choose a getaway at a hotel this summer. We believe renting Camp Lodestar is a great alternative! Here’s why:

Natural Setting

Camp Lodestar is set in a beautiful forest at 4000’ in the Sierra Nevada foothills, complete with trails, creek, and open meadow. Being in nature has its benefits! Walking in the woods or simply sitting by a creek reduces stress. Guests can roam on 450 acres of peaceful landscape.

Activities

At Camp Lodestar, there’s plenty for your family or group to do in the summer months. Guests can swim (we provide the lifeguard!), play volleyball, basketball, hike, go on the low ropes course, explore flora & fauna or the on-site Native American grinding stones. Utilize the stage for a talent-no-talent show or spend a quiet morning doing crafts in Apricot Hall. End your days with an evening campfire under the stars.

Lodging Options

We can offer a retreat setting with semi-private rooms or dorm-style lodging in Lodges or our summer cabins.

Meal Service

We are happy to provide full meal service to you. Healthy and plentiful meals are served in our spacious dining hall. You may also elect to do your own cooking. Small groups may cook in the International House, a self-contained retreat house, that sleeps up to 20 guests. Large groups can rent the commercial kitchen and dining room to cater their own meals.

Facilitate Togetherness

Being in a camp setting truly does facilitate a sense of togetherness for families and groups. Sharing meals and enjoying activities collectively promotes communication and can offer moments that everyday life may not always present.

Events

Camp Lodestar features a large open meadow that would be ideal for a music festival, concert, or large event. If you are looking for a venue that could host a large event, Camp Lodestar may be just the right place!
