We are pleased to announce that beginning August 1st, 2020, United Camps, Conferences & Retreats (UCCR) will become the management services provider for Tall Oaks Camp & Conference Center in Linwood, Kansas.

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Greater Kansas City has selected United Camps, Conferences and Retreats (UCCR) of Petaluma, California to take on operations of the camp and retreat center beginning in August.

UCCR, a non-profit cooperative established in 1970, currently manages 11 sites in Northern and Southern California, Massachusetts, Kansas, Michigan, and Ohio, most of which are owned by religious organizations.

Situated between urban and rural areas, Tall Oaks has 50 acres of wooded land to offer a feeling of seclusion. Guests may enjoy the comfort of the variety of lodging spaces in the serenity of nature. The facilities are fully handicap accessible with year-round lodging and include air-conditioning with the majority of cabins carpeted.

All sites managed by UCCR are open to non-profits, schools, religious groups, and organizations for retreats, camps, meetings, reunions, educational and community gatherings. UCCR also provides program partnership to its facilities and owner group organizations through on-site support and the Web of Life Field (WOLF) School. The WOLF School is an environmental education provider.
