/As we wind down from the beautiful Michigan summer at Crystal Conference Center, we find ourselves looking forward to fall. Autumn always reminds us that all good things come to an end, it’s comforting and gives us time to pause. As the leaves fall from the trees ending their cycle, we do much of the same here on Crystal Lake.
As facility owners of seasonal event space from May to September, we tuck things away each year and won’t see them again until the magical renewal of spring. For the past 100 years we have hosted our own groups activities here. Yet now, as we open this space to our community, we find ourselves excited at the prospect of sharing what this site means to us. The many years of camaraderie we have felt here, the kinship and how deep our treasure chest of memories are.
Here are some of the things we want future guests to know about coming to enjoy Crystal Conference Center.
It’s beautiful. Because the site is lake side, the views are stunning.
It’s fun. There are so many outdoor recreation options to enjoy with others, take advantage of them.
There is nothing like enjoying an inspirational workshop or event in the open-air chapel and then following it up with a group hike, dip in the lake, or a competitive game of volleyball.
If you are a program leader looking for a space to gather students, come talk to us, we would love to talk to you about hosting your workshop, retreat or overnight program.
With so many lodging options make sure you come take a tour and see which area best fits your needs. Mission House is cozy and sleeps up to 13 and with a fully equipped kitchen. We also have lodging, dorms and even RV hook-ups.
As a large conference center with so much to offer, we would like to host all types of group functions. Big or small family reunions would love it here, as our home cooked meals are sure to please.
We would also like to host weddings or joyous occasions of any kind. What type of gathering would you like to allow us to host? What type of group would you like to bring to a natural setting? Let us know, we are open and getting ready to serve you next season.
As the owners of this property we have decided to partner with United, Camps, Conferences & Retreats, to manage our facility.
