Monte Toyon's Hungry Guests

At Monte Toyon Camp in Aptos, CA, we miss our guests, but that doesn’t mean we are lonely. We still have guests, yet these friends have four legs and two wings. So just know, until we see you again, we are tending the beautiful spaces and making new friends to share with you upon your return.
This deer is hiding in the garden just waiting for us to leave so she can have a hearty snack. Though it may be hard to see, if you look closely at the bright flowers, you can spot a little hummingbird enjoying a bit of nectar.
