/In these challenging times, it may feel like it’s too soon to make plans for your family, group, church, school retreat or event because we simply do not know what will happen with the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are strongly advocating and recommending that you contact us to proceed with your reservation for 2021 now. Here's why:
Be Proactive
Regardless of what happens with the Covid-19 virus, getting your reservation secured now will help you be ready-to-go with your event when the situation changes. Though we don’t know exactly when that will be, you will have your event dates in place when the situation turns toward re-gathering. We are happy to work with you one-on-one to establish the best-informed decision about your event.
Assessing Risks & Opportunities
We at UCCR are acutely aware that we may need to modify your reservation for 2021 as your date gets closer. We are also aware that your deposit may need to be transferred or refunded. We believe securing your reservation will eliminate a last-minute scramble for your dates if you wait too long. Many of our groups have already placed holds on dates for 2021. Don’t miss out!
Time to Revise & Update
Reserving now will give you time to work with us to revise and update your event dates if needed. This also gives you plenty of time to work with our Site Directors to establish safe gathering options at the sites. Each Site Director has worked diligently to understand how to host groups in a manner that provides the most prudent and healthy practices at their respective sites. As we have noted in 2020, it also gives you plenty of time to readjust your own program goals if necessary.
