MENUS, MAPS, AND SITE DETAILS

An adult retreat center in Alamo, Contra Costa County, California for nonprofit groups of 12-50. (see location of site on map of California or get driving directions)
An
ideal setting for adult groups, Westminster Retreat provides a peaceful,
quiet place for meetings. Conveniently located in the East Bay just
south of Walnut Creek, Westminster is surrounded by informal gardens and
100 year-old oak trees. To the east, enjoy a spectacular view of Mt.
Diablo and to the west, the golden hills of Las Trampas Regional Park.
Built in 1928, Westminster Retreat was once a private home and large
orchard. In 1953, the Englehart family sold the estate to the Presbytery
of San Francisco. We are fortunate that this elegant home and its'
grounds can still be enjoyed today.

Westminster. We've seen some wonderful improvements at the site
since we've been there. Fair price for all that is provided and the
atmosphere too!" |
| Marie Teuscher,
Livermore Lab Employee Services Association |
 |
| "Westminster
Retreat is always clean, fresh smelling, fresh flowers, very nice.
The staff is excellent! They always make sure we know where
everything is located and they greet us with a smile." |
| Diane Varady,
East Bay Baptist Association |
 |
| "The staff
is the best. It has always been but they had special decorations for
our 25th year at the site - even a cake with candles! To honor the
staff and site, we purchased 2 trees to plant on the property. The
kitchen staff are wonderful - They seem like family to us." |
| Lois Anderson,
Trinity Lutheran Church Women's Group |
 |
| "Westminster
Retreat was great - we loved the extra touches like the individual
soaps and the well-stocked fridge. It was also very clean. A great
value - A wonderful place in a great setting with a caring staff.
The general rooms were great for our discussions and activities. We
also took advantage of the out-of-doors hiking trails, pool and
meditation garden." |
| Marge Pryle,
