A camp near the Sonoma coast in Annapolis, Sonoma County, California for

nonprofit groups of 10-172. (see location of site on map of California or

get driving directions)

Located on the banks of the Gualala River near the community of Annapolis,

Camp Gualala's 500 acres are nestled in a canyon surrounded by an old grove

Redwood forest. The north fork of the Gualala river flows through the middle of

the camp and is home to a variety of wildlife including river otters, raccoons,

deer, fish and an abundance of birds. One of the highlights of Camp Gualala

is a suspension bridge connecting the two sides of the river.

Summer camp for youth, retreats and training events for adults, and weekend

programs for families all find a place among the towering trees at Camp Gualala.

The splendor of the forest creates an atmosphere for relaxation or recreation.

Check out the 2500 year-old tree near the Redwood Cabins.

What our guests say about Camp Gualala

"The crew went out of their way to make sure we were all comfy and cozy. The food was fantastic!

We love your food and are so appreciative of the daily salad bar. I still think that you should package

and sell your granola. It's the absolute best!"

Claire Lennon, Marin Horizons School

"The beauty of Camp Gualala is a large part of what has made WOMANSPIRIT so successful

that we've had to add another week to accommodate all the women who want to attend. The river,

the sacred grandmother tree, the grounds and the outdoor amphitheater are all a part of what

makes women come back year after year to replenish their souls and prepare for another year

of life as a woman. Add to the physical beauty a staff that has treated us like the goddesses we

are and we've got all our reasons to keep Gualala as our retreat center."

Rev. Georgia Prescott, Santa Rosa Church of Religious Science
