Why a Winter Getaway

Winter may not seem like the most popular time to unplug from the day-to-day and get away for a group retreat. However, the woods are quiet and the winter season invites us into a time of internal quiet as well. Now is a great time to plan your winter retreat. Perhaps your team, group or family is in need of a time that can be set aside for reflection on 2104 and planning hopes and dreams for 2015. New Year’s resoultions seem to come and go, but starting off your new year with a time away from the daily grind may provide you with an opportunity to see something in a new light, generate a set of goals, or simply have some play time. There is always a letting go of the year that has just passed, a time to observe accomplishments and challenges…and set before you whatever intentions that will take you to new horizons, both internally and externally. We have a variety of sites that offer a weekend in the snow, a quiet fireside, or a walk in the coastal redwoods.
